Web 2.0 and mobile technologies have had limited impact on adult education due to the fact that the main actors have been slow movers in using digital media in the learning processes together with the low quality of resources available for the adult education sector.
AAA-StepUp2-ICT addresses these issues throughout a pedagogical approach designed to maximize impact through the production and sharing of OERs based on practical classroom and work based training activities and on the use of Web 2.0 and digital media.
More specifically the project aims at:
– enabling adult educators to use web 2.0 applications and tools in their own occupational contexts,
– providing training material to implement IT in the adult education processes;
– developing European Communities of Practice in the adult education sector.
