The project will focus on how IT, social software and the use of multimedia can enhance existing curriculum delivery and improve adults’ learning experience supporting adult educators practice.
The main results of the project are:
- An andragogic Handbook: “Getting to use online learning, web 2.0 technologies and mobile apps in Adult education” to collect original and revised resources for developing, delivering, and evaluating training paths for adult educators.
- “Facilitating Educators’ and Trainers’ uses of online learning, web 2.0 technologies and mobile technologies in different Adult education contexts” training programme to promote educators’ and trainers’ ICT capability and proficiency in using e-resources in adult education and training.
- ICT Open Educational Resources for Adult educators and trainers: resources on tools and processes for the implementation of ICTs in adult education.
- An online support activity center for the project and for the emerging Communities of practice of different stakeholders addressed by the project.
